Memberships

● This is a minimum 12 week contract, with no freezes or cancelation within that 12 week time frame.

● Memberships commence from your date of purchase and billed every 28 days. After your initial 12 week term, your membership will continue to renew on a 4 weekly basis. If you wish to terminate your membership, we require 2 weeks written notice via email to hello@pilatessociety.com.au

● Bookings need to coincide with your 4 weekly billing cycle. Should you book into and attend more than the specified amount of classes, a discounted casual class will be applied to your next billing date ($27 per class).

● Classes not used within the time frame will not roll into the new period. All classes should be redeemed within the 28 days.

● Extensions will not be granted if members do not use the classes in the given time period unless for medical reasons. A medical certificate may be required.

● Unlimited members may attend a maximum of 1 class per day.

● All memberships purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable between clients. No refunds provided.

● If your 4 weekly payment declines due to card issues, insufficient funds or security (without prior notice to admin), a dishonour fee of $15 is charged for the cost of resolving the issue. Please provide an alternative payment method within 7 days.

● Memberships may be subject to a price increase. You will be notified in writing at least 4 weeks prior to any change.

● Freezing membership - If you are outside your 12 week lock in term, we can freeze your membership for a minimum of 14 days and maximum of 30 days. Maximum days 60 per calendar year starting from day 1 of your membership. To freeze your membership, we require 14 days written notice to hello@pilatessociety.com.au

If for medical reasons you require a longer suspension period, a medical certificate must be provided. No more than 2 suspension periods will be granted over a 12 month period (calendar year).

● If you wish to cancel your membership prior to the 12 week term you will be required to pay the remaining of the minimum term.

● If you wish to terminate your membership after the 12 week term, 14 days written notice is required to hello@pilatessociety.com.au. Memberships have to be active, not on suspension.

Class Packs

● All class packs will activate from your first booked class.

● Class Packs purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable between clients.

● All class bookings must be made via Pilates Society website or through the Momence app. Create your account on the website prior to using the Momence app.

● 5 class packs are valid for 5 weeks and 10 class packs are valid for 3 months from first class booked. Any classes not used within this time frame will expire.

2 week Unlimited Trials

● Your trial will activate from your first booked class.

● 1 class per day, for 14 days.

● The Introductory Offer may only be purchased once per person.

● All trials purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable between clients.

Private/Studio Bookings

● To discuss a private booking, simply email us at hello@pilatessociety.com.au

● Private appointments have a 24-hour cancellation window. Cancellations less than 24-hours before your scheduled appointment will incur full charge.

Waitlist

● If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. If a space becomes available you will be notified up to 60 minutes before the class starts, via text message and email. When adding yourself to the class you are committing to attend.

● Please ensure you remove yourself from the waitlist if you no longer wish to attend to avoid late cancellation or no show fees.

Cancellations & No Show

● Cancellations or rescheduling of classes need to be made more than 8 hours prior if your classes are between 5:30am- 8am, otherwise 6 hours before class start time. This allows for other members on the waitlist to attend the class.

● All cancellations must be done via the Momence app or the Pilates Society website. Calls & texts will not be accepted.

● Late cancellations (you cancelling your class within the above time window prior to class start time) will result in loss of class that will automatically be deducted from your memberships or packs.

● No show (you do not turn up) you will lose your session and a $15 no show fee will be charged plus 2.2% and $0.30.

Studio

● Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the class commencing. If you are more than 5 minutes late to class, you may not be permitted entry for your own safety, & also causing disruption to others.

● Store belongings and footwear in designated areas before entering the studio. Pilates Society will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings.

● Socks must be worn in all classes for hygiene, preferably with grip. If you do not bring socks, you will be required to purchase a pair at the studio for health and safety purposes.

● No mobile phones in the studio, please switch it off or on silent mode.

● We provide hand sanitiser, and request that everyone sanitise their hands prior to and following class.

● All members are requested to disinfect their used equipment after class. Disinfectant wipes/cloths will be provided.

● If you have a pre-existing injury or have physical limitations, please advise Pilates Society and provide a medical clearance from your GP.

● Pilates Society reserves the right to change the instructor of the class without notice, in the event that instructor is unable to attend the class.

● Minimum of 3 participants for a class to run. You will be contacted either by phone or email at least 2 hours before scheduled class time. You will not be charged and the session will be credited to your account.

● Clients under the age of 18 require a waiver signed by a parent or guardian before attending classes.

● You understand that classes may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full acknowledgement that there is a risk of personal injury or death.

Pregnancy

Existing members

● You may attend all classes up until 16 weeks. Please notify your instructor prior to class

● Beyond 16 weeks we ask you to only attend PS Reformer Foundations, PS Matwork and Stretch classes.

● We do ask that you be cleared by your GP before commencing exercise with us.

New members

● If you have never done pilates before we ask that you seek medical clearance with a GP prior to coming to class. Once you have the all clear we recommend starting with a private session, you are welcome to attend PS Foundations, PS Matwork and Stretch classes throughout your pregnancy (as recommended by your GP).
